Category Manager
Salary: $80,000-120,000 DOE, + Bonus
Location: Gilberts, IL

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Category Manager with strong corrugated packaging expertise to lead domestic sourcing strategies. This role drives cost savings, supplier performance, and process improvement across multiple U.S. regions while managing a team of sourcing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for domestic packaging categories

• Manage supplier relationships and performance

• Lead and develop a team of sourcing specialists

• Drive cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives

• Analyze market trends and data to support purchasing decisions

• Oversee item setup, pricing, and supplier assignments across a large SKU portfolio

Required Qualifications

• 8–10 years of sourcing experience; packaging experience preferred

• 2–3 years of people management experience

• Strong network within the corrugated supplier community

• Solid understanding of supply chain, inventory, and procurement processes

• Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, or related field

• Or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
