About the Role
Seeking a Sr. Specialist – Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing and category strategy across multiple areas, including direct materials, packaging, and contract manufacturing services. This role supports both regional and global procurement initiatives and drives value creation, supplier performance, and long‑term supply competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement multi‑year category strategies focused on cost, value creation, supply continuity, and customer satisfaction
- Source, qualify, and manage suppliers; ensure compliance with procurement standards
- Build and maintain strategic supply plans aligned with business needs and stakeholder goals
- Lead supplier negotiations, performance reviews, and relationship management
- Challenge sole‑source situations and support crisis/mitigation planning
- Support ESG, sustainability, and compliance requirements
- Drive cross‑functional alignment across supply chain, manufacturing, technology, and business units
- Execute global/regional agreements, manage SAP updates, and coordinate with internal teams
- Conduct market intelligence, benchmarking, price forecasting, and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or Business
- 8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within a complex environment
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency with SAP MM and procurement processes
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and influence cross‑functional partners
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
