Job description:Selkirk, NYAbout the RoleSeeking a Sr. Specialist – Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing and category strategy across multiple areas, including direct materials, packaging, and contract manufacturing services. This role supports both regional and global procurement initiatives and drives value creation, supplier performance, and long‑term supply competitiveness.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement multi‑year category strategies focused on cost, value creation, supply continuity, and customer satisfactionSource, qualify, and manage suppliers; ensure compliance with procurement standardsBuild and maintain strategic supply plans aligned with business needs and stakeholder goalsLead supplier negotiations, performance reviews, and relationship managementChallenge sole‑source situations and support crisis/mitigation planningSupport ESG, sustainability, and compliance requirementsDrive cross‑functional alignment across supply chain, manufacturing, technology, and business unitsExecute global/regional agreements, manage SAP updates, and coordinate with internal teamsConduct market intelligence, benchmarking, price forecasting, and trend analysisQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, or Business8+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain within a complex environmentStrong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skillsProficiency with SAP MM and procurement processesAbility to manage multiple priorities and influence cross‑functional partnersWillingness to travel up to 25%Benefits:Commuter assistanceDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth savings accountPaid time offVision insurance
