We provide products to many national retailers, wholesalers, distributors, club and mass stores, as well as industrial accounts including other food manufacturers.Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and strategic Manager of Category and Portfolio Strategy, who is intellectually curious and comfortable working in a culture focused on collaboration and transformation.Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will play a critical role in delivering sales growth through data-driven insights, translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies that will advance the private label frozen and deli pizza category. This highly collaborative and visible role requires a leader who can seamlessly translate raw data into insights, insights into strategies, and strategies into actionable and digestible plans that will enable our organization to execute and win. This position is ideal for a self-starter with a strong private label or CPG background, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to communicate insights effectively to senior leadership and cross functional teams.Essential FunctionsDrive sales growth by developing category and portfolio strategies grounded in robust data analysis and financial insight.Analyze and synthesize syndicated data and consumer panel data to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.Partner with Sales leadership to support pricing/promotion, portfolio assortment, and new business development.Develop executive ready presentations that clearly articulate insights, recommendations, and business implications.Collaborate closely with Finance to align category strategy with financial objectives and performance metrics.Monitor competitive dynamics, market trends, and shopper behavior to inform strategic decision making.Act as a strategic advisor to internal stakeholders, using data to challenge assumptions and guide decisions.Lead ad hoc analyses and strategic initiatives in support of revenue growth and margin improvement.Essential Skills and AbilitiesStrong analytical and critical thinking skills coupled with exceptional presentation and communication abilities to tell a clear and compelling story with data.Proven ability to articulate key insights and translate analysis into actionable business recommendations.Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate complex issues in an easy-to-understand way.Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond to changing situationsEducation/CertificationBachelor's degree requiredMBA or master's degree in data/analytics is a plus.Experience510 years of experience in Category Management or Portfolio Strategy within a large CPG company.Strong record of accomplishment in developing private-label food or consumer packaged goods.Other Requirements:Ability and willingness to travel domestically 10% of the time.The following information is provided in accordance with certain state and local laws. Compensation depends on experience, geographic locations, and other factors permitted by law. The expected compensation for this role is between $125,000 and $160,000. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan bonus.
