Provides care to patient populations with complex health issues, and serves as a clinical resource to staff. Primary responsibilities include ensuring work flow across areas while focusing on patient safety, quality of care, patient satisfaction, and standards of care. The value you’ll bring to the team: · Coordinates daily schedules and throughput (flow) of patients to include but not be limited to assisting with scheduling procedure rooms, patient placement pre/post procedure, and prioritizing of patient urgency. · Oversees patient scheduling. · Responsible for staff scheduling/daily assignments. · Assists staff/physicians with emergency situations. · Scrubs, circulates, and monitors procedures when needed. Performs fluoroscopy, administers sedation, and administers contrast media under the direction of the physician. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : · Previous Charge Nurse experience or supervisory experience · Training specific to the Cardiac Cath Lab · A minimum of two (2) years of critical care experience · Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or Radiology · Advanced Cardiac Life Support · Basic Life Support · FL License as Registered Nurse or Radiology Technologist · American Registry of Radiology Technologist This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
