Cath Lab Tech Apply
Job Summary:
This position is for a Cath Lab Tech who will assist providers during diagnostic and interventional radiology and cardiology procedures. The role involves scrubbing and circulating in IR/Cath Lab and cardiology procedures, with a focus on interventional radiology (80% of cases). The tech must be proficient in IR procedures and be able to perform EKG lead placement.

Responsibilities:
- Assist providers during diagnostic/interventional radiology and cardiology procedures.
- Scrub and circulate in IR/Cath Lab procedures and cardiology procedures.
- Perform EKG lead placement.
- Medication administration performed by RN only.
- Manage special equipment including GE MAC Lab, Philips iFR/IVUS, Canon and GE Labs, Angio Jet, Pneumbra, EKOS, Inari, CSI Atherectomy System, Bovi System for Implanta Plasma Blade Cutter, Radiofrequency Ablation Unit Venous Closure Unit, Sono Site, S2000 Ultrasound Unit, IABP, Impella.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Scrub and Circulate skills.
- Telemetry skills.
- IR experience (90% of cases).
- ACLS certification.
- BCLS certification.
- ARRT or RCIS certification.

Special Considerations:
- No RTO after booking.
- Call offs or additional RTO on unit could result in cancellation.
- Weekday call: 16:00-07:30, twice a week for 2 weeks in a month.
- Weekend Call: Friday 16:00-Monday 7:30, 1 weekend call a month.
- No call the week after weekend call.
- Expect urgent/emergent cardiology and interventional radiology procedures.
- Callback time is 30 minutes for STEMIs, IR callback time is determined based on procedure type.
- Call team consists of three staff members one of which is an RN.
- No Holiday RTO.
- No RTO after booking.
- Call offs or additional RTO on unit could result in cancellation.
