Job Description
In this role, you will be working in a Research and Development area assembling catheters under a microscope. You will complete various sub-assemblies using small hand tools, document processes, perform visual inspections, and manage the final packaging of catheters. The tasks include short-run builds, braiding, reflow, bonding, annealing, liner stretching, and soldering lead wires.
Responsibilities- Work as part of a team to assemble parts.
- Sort and place materials or items on tables, racks, or bins.
- Manually assemble small parts under a microscope.
- Clean assembled parts and place them in protective bags or boxes.
- Package assembled parts.
- Pick up, move, and sort small parts.
- Verify raw materials and lot numbers.
- Build products by following all processes and completing assigned work, while meeting manufacturing goals and metrics.
- Rotate tasks as necessary and collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups.
- Maintain accurate records, including training records and required paperwork.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Adhere to safety and quality processes and procedures.
- Communicate the status of operations in a timely manner to management, including any safety and/or process problems.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- 2-3 years of experience building catheters.
- Experience in manufacturing, performing visual inspections, and operating necessary assembly equipment.
- Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and productively with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Willingness to work under a microscope throughout the day.
- Experience with medical device assembly, catheter assembly, and clean room assembly.
- Knowledge of braiding, guide wire, and microscope assembly.

Work EnvironmentThe facility is modern, clean, and features a spacious break room with a family-like atmosphere. The position is in a clean room environment where makeup and jewelry are not permitted. Clean room attire, including masks (not respirators), gloves, hair nets, and smocks, will be worn. Microscope work can vary from 10% to 50% of the day. The role operates on the 1st shift, from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.
