Job Title: Catheter Assembler - R&DJob Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Catheter Assembler to join our R&D team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling catheters using small hand tools and microscopes, completing sub-assemblies, conducting visual inspections, and documenting processes. You will work on short-run builds including braiding, reflow, bonding, annealing, liner stretching, and some soldering.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble catheters and sub-assemblies under a microscope using small hand tools.
  • Perform braiding, reflow, bonding, annealing, and liner stretching.
  • Work as part of a team to assemble parts and sort materials.
  • Clean assembled parts and package them in protective bags or boxes.
  • Verify raw materials and lot numbers.
  • Build products by following all processes and meeting manufacturing goals.
  • Rotate tasks as needed and collaborate with team members and cross-functional groups.
  • Maintain accurate records, including training and required paperwork.
  • Report defective materials or conditions to the department supervisor.
  • Adhere to safety and quality processes and procedures.
  • Communicate operation status and any issues to management promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Essential Skills
  • 2-3 years of experience in catheter assembly.
  • Experience in manufacturing, visual inspections, and operating assembly equipment.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Capability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Willingness to work under a microscope throughout the day.

Work may involve 10% to 50% microscope use. The position operates on a 1st shift schedule from 5 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Maple Grove, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
