QXO is hiring a CDL A or B Local Conveyor/Boom Truck Driver in Springdale, AR. The driver will deliver building materials to our customers in a safe and efficient manner. Compensation

• Competitive hourly wages with a minimum of 40 hours a week
• Paid overtime at time and a half
• Breakdown Pay: Your hourly rate if on the road and towed

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily
• Monday - Friday, no nights or weekends
• Shift: Day shift with start time of 6 am depending on contract needs. End times can vary.
• Route: Deliveries within 25-100 miles of Springdale, AR
• Level of Touch: Touch- loads must be strapped down; warehouse loads; driver may be asked to support with sit-down forklift

Equipment

• Conveyor/Boom Truck
• Automatic
• GPS
• Electronic log-book

Responsibilities:

• Safely unload building products and multiple bundles of shingles from the conveyor boom onto rooftops
• In instances where rooftop delivery is not feasible, support the driver with ground drop operations at the designated job site
• Verify order contents prior to loading them onto the delivery truck
• Assist with delivery operations as needed
• Demonstrate a daily commitment to safety and adhere to all protocols, always wearing appropriate PPE

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A or B license in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of prior and verifiable experience driving a commercial motor vehicle
  • Additional highly preferred experience:
    • Handling building materials
    • Forklift experience
• Hazmat Endorsement a plus but not required
• NCCCO (BOOM) desired
• Ability to lift 75 lbs. as necessary
• No convictions or offenses related to DUI, DWI, careless or reckless driving, or suspensions/revocations resulting from these violations, within the past 3 years from the date of the MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) search.
• No more than two violations of motor vehicle laws or incidents (excluding parking violations) within the past 3 years.
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required DOT physical and drug screen
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Should prefer working in a team environment but be comfortable working on independent tasks
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 50 miles of Springdale, AR or be willing to relocate for this position
