Garden State Growers is hiring Truck Drivers with a Class A license! In this position you will be delivering rolling racks filled with live plants to customers, which include big box stores on a scheduled route, as well as to our 2 other locations in PA and NJ.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver merchandise to customers in timely, effective and efficient manner with emphasis on customer service, neat appearance and safety.
• Pick up merchandise and rolling racks, as needed.
• Operate company vehicle in a professional, safe and courteous manner.
• Ensure delivery of appropriate merchandise in accordance with customer invoice.
• Unload product from racks in the store and return empty racks to Garden State Growers, when possible.
• Responsible for vehicle, ensure that it is kept clean, orderly and in good working condition.
• Perform daily vehicle maintenance checks (pre- and post-inspection) and report any malfunctions to management with proper documentation (inspection form/work-order).
• Optional routes, home daily/bidaily/weekly.
• Up to 2500 miles per week.
• Assigned trucks, newer than 2019.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or other members of management.

Requirements

• Valid Class A Driver's license.
• Clean MVR.
• At least 2 years' driving experience.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical examiners certificate.
• Outstanding customer relations and customer service skills.
• Must be able to lift or at least pull 75 lbs.
• Communication with Dispatch.
• Drive ELD Compliant.
