CDL Driver – Boom Truck Operator

Pay: $27–$35 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: 4–5 days per week, 40–45 hours

Position Overview:

JMAT Supply is currently hiring a CDL Driver – Boom Truck Operator to deliver and unload drywall and building materials at job sites throughout the area. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for timely, safe, and professional service. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL Class B or A license, NCCCO or NCCER Boom Certification (preferred), and at least one year of experience operating boom trucks. Candidates must also be physically capable of assisting with the loading and unloading of heavy materials.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate a delivery truck to and from job sites

· Safely load, secure, and transport building materials

· Unload and stock materials alongside a co-worker as directed on the order ticket

· Operate boom, crane, or Gradall to place materials safely and efficiently

· Ensure accuracy and quality of all delivered materials

· Follow all DOT, traffic, and company safety regulations

· Represent JMAT in a professional and courteous manner at job sites

· Assist with warehouse tasks including loading/unloading as needed

Qualifications:

· Valid CDL Class B or A license

· Current DOT Medical Card

· NCCCO or NCCER Boom Certification preferred

· Minimum 1 year of boom truck or drywall delivery experience

· Ability to consistently lift and carry 75–100 lbs; up to 250 lbs with assistance

· Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and at elevated heights

· Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and comply with random testing

· Strong attention to safety, reliability, and teamwork

· Crane certification is a plus

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to move, lift, carry, and position heavy building materials

· Frequent climbing, reaching, bending, and twisting during shift

· Ability to stand or walk for long periods and operate lifting equipment safely
