Essential Functions Makes product deliveries and/or picks up cases from our customers. Rearranges or restacks loads to make deliveries, as needed. Accounts for all breakage, overage and shortage. Accurately completes required delivery paperwork. Obtains written signature from customers for proof of delivery. Follows Company work rules and policies. Maintains satisfactory attendance to include timeliness. Responsible for understanding and complying with applicable quality, environmental and safety regulatory consideration. Page 2 of 3 Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate. Required to possess a valid class A or B license or permit with air-brake certification, a current medical certificate, and a safe driving record. Drivers are required to submit to all drug and alcohol testing per DOT regulations, including random screening. Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire. Required to obtain a New Jersey driver's license or appropriate state driver's license within 30 days of hire. Required to make an average of 25 deliveries a day with an average of 450 cases per day. The average case weight is approximately 38 pounds. Required to lift cases of product up to 60 pounds. Min Quals Standard Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of driving experience with a Commercial Driver's License. Detailed oriented.
