Mayflower Van Lines agent seeking CDL / OTR team truck drivers to cover high value, third proviso goods from Northern California, Colorado, and New Jersey. OTR team driver is paid a mileage rate with per diem and extra labor rates.

Candidates must be 21 years of age and older with at least a year or more of commercial driving experience. A safe driving record is required with no major violations within the past 3 years. All candidates who are offered positions will be expected to pass a physical, substance abuse screening, and background check.

Job duties to include:

• Loading and unloading of customer goods in a safe and efficient manner to maximize customer service and company profitability.
• Pad wrap and load securement by driver.
• Responsible for accurate completion of all paperwork and for the receipt and accounting of all tendered shipment funds.
• Responsible for maintaining all vehicular and in-van equipment in accordance with company policy, as well as, state and federal requirements.
• Where applicable, maintain driver logs in accordance with all state and federal laws.
• Interface with customers and clients as principle company spokesperson to heighten customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements: Valid CDL with a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience. Must possess knowledge of DOT regulations. Command of the English language and the ability to read/write English necessary.
