We are hiring a CDL Sanitation Truck Driver to operate a garbage truck on assigned routes and lead a small crew. This role involves waste collection, equipment operation, and ensuring safe and efficient route completion. Pay: $24.00 per hour Responsibilities Operate a garbage truck on assigned routes Collect, load, and transport waste to disposal sites Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Follow routes, schedules, and safety procedures Perform basic preventive maintenance on vehicles Provide professional interaction with customers Lead and support a 2-3 person crew Respond to emergency situations as needed Qualifications Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) Current DOT medical card Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to lead a small crew 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred Waste industry experience a plus Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions Must pass background check and drug screening Must wear steel-toe boots and PPE daily Work Environment Outdoor work in various weather conditions Exposure to traffic, equipment, noise, and waste materials Physical work including lifting, bending, climbing, and repetitive motion #J-18808-Ljbffr
