2. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring adherence to culinary standards and operational procedures
Plan and manage food production, including developing menus, ordering supplies, and coordinating with suppliers
Maintain quality control of all culinary preparations, ensuring consistency and adherence to restaurant standards
Conduct inventory, monitor costs, and implement cost-saving measures
Collaborate with the restaurant manager to optimize kitchen operations and customer satisfaction
3. Technical Skills:
Advanced knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
Exceptional knife skills and mastery of various culinary equipment
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
Proficient in using kitchen management software
Experience in managing a team of kitchen staff
4. Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years of experience as a Chef de Partie or comparable culinary leadership role in a high-volume restaurant
