The NVRH Clinical Education team is seeking a dedicated and experienced Central Clinical Nurse Educator to support optimal patient outcomes through staff development and education across multiple clinical departments. This evening-shift role is crucial in promoting clinical excellence, mentoring nursing staff, and fostering evidence-based practice throughout the organization.Key Responsibilities:Develop, deliver, and evaluate organization-wide and unit-specific education programsServe as a clinical resource and role model during evening shiftsConduct research to identify and implement best practicesProvide ongoing clinical support and education to nursing staffUtilize adult learning principles, simulation technology, and learning management platformsPerform additional duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Current Vermont Registered Nurse or Compact RN license required.Current AHA BLS certification; ACLS and PALS provider/instructor certification (or within one year)Master's degree or enrollment in an education, nursing, or other healthcare-related Master's program with completion within two yearsMinimum of 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience in acute care or relevant specialtyStrong ability to coach, mentor, and motivate nursing staffExcellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsAvailability to consistently work evenings, with flexibility for other shifts as neededPreferred Qualifications:Experience in curriculum development and simulation-based learningBackground in central education roles or multi-unit educationFamiliarity with quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient safety initiativesProficiency with educational technologies and learning management systemsDemonstrated experience mentoring or precepting nursing staffAbout NVRH:Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital is in St. Johnsbury, Vermont, in the Northeast Kingdom.
