Primary Responsibilities:
The Central Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and inventory management of instruments, equipment, and reusable medical supplies. Duties are performed following national standards, regulations, and facility policies to support safe and high-quality patient care.

Education, Licensure, and Certification Requirements:

• Required:

  • GED or High School Diploma
  • One-year certificate from a college or technical school, or 3-6 months of related experience/training, or equivalent education and experience
  • CPR Certification

• Preferred:

  • Certified Sterile Processing Technician certification

Interview Process:

1. Initial phone interview with the Administrator and Director of Nursing
2. Potential onsite interview with the Administrator and Director of Nursing
