HCSD is collecting applications from current certified staff interested in future Homebound Teacher openings. The teacher will provide instructional support and tutoring in various subjects outside of school hours in the student's home on a schedule developed between the teacher, student, and student's guardian(s).

Candidates should be:

• currently employed by the HCSD
• a certified, licensed educator
• able to provide their own transportation
• able to communicate with the student and guardian(s) outside of school hours
• comfortable traveling to the student's home for homebound services
• able to effectively liaise between the student, student's guardian(s), and staff at the student's school

Preferred candidates

• will have prior experience as a homebound teacher
• will have a certification in at least one subject area in the student's grade level or grade band
