Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assisting the provider during procedures. 
  • Obtaining patient vital signs, documenting medical histories, and ensuring accuracy and consistency of intake forms. Effectively communicates any abnormal findings to the provider. 
  • Ensure medical and procedure notes are accurate and ready for physician review and completion.
  • Creating visit and procedure notes, and other necessary paperwork.
  • Prepare exam rooms for patients ensuring the room is well-stocked and clean.
  • Collect and upload imaging and previous treatment notes ahead of clinic to ensure an efficient clinic flow and prevent any delays in schedule.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

·         Strong communication and customer service skills
·         Ability to use a computer to complete administrative tasks
·         High school graduate or has GED
·         Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants or other qualified certifying agency
·         Willingness to travel to all clinic locations
·         Over 1 year of work experience as a medical assistant performing admin duties or similar role in a healthcare work environment
