Job Name: Medical Assistant

Location: Mt. Kisco, NY 10549.

Duration: 4 months Contract (Possibilities of extension)

Pay rate: $20-23/hr. On W2/Pay Rate is based on experience

Schedule: 8 AM - 5 PM / Mon – Fri (5 days/wk.)

Travel: Travel would be on an as-needed basis (1-2 days a week) .

Qualifications:

• High school/GED or equivalent
• Current, Medical Assistant Certification

Job Responsibilities:

1. Perform patient intake, including obtaining and documenting vital signs, chief complaints, and relevant clinical history.
2. Accurately document patient information and clinical data in the electronic medical record (EMR).
3. Provide clear and timely hand-off of patient information to physicians and/or advanced practice clinicians.
4. Follow up on assigned clinical tasks, orders, and patient care activities as directed by the provider.
5. Assist with direct patient care procedures within scope of practice.
6. Ensure exam rooms are prepared, stocked, and compliant with clinical standards.
7. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all clinical, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
