Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our healthcare team. The CMA will support physicians and nurses in providing high-quality patient care, performing clinical and administrative duties in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires effective communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and nurses with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments.
• Take and record patient vitals, medical histories, and other essential health information.
• Prepare exam rooms for patient visits, ensuring a clean, organized, and stocked environment.
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by the healthcare provider.
• Perform routine laboratory tests, EKGs, and specimen collection.
• Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and post-visit care.
• Handle patient scheduling, appointment confirmations, and follow-up calls.
• Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering medical supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, confidentiality policies, and infection control standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification from an accredited program.
• Minimum of [1] years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting (preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems (experience with [specific system] preferred).
