Certified Medical Assistant Apply
Overview
Join our client as a Certified Medical Assistant where you will provide essential clinical support in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will work closely with physicians and patients, ensuring high-quality care and maintaining a professional atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, lab tests and other procedures within scope of MA certification
- Assist physician in examinations, including taking blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration
- Keep rooms cleaned and stocked with necessary supplies
- Take and return patient phone calls as directed by Physician
- Give instructions to patients as instructed by physician
- Requisition supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock
- Assist with the maintenance of medical records including completion of referral forms, lab slips, and other documentation
- Assist patients getting to and from exam rooms and preparing for exams
- Work as a member of a team and be flexible

Qualifications
Required
- Associate degree or higher
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
