Women’s Healthcare Specialists is hiring a full-time, full-scope Certified Nurse Midwife in Phoenixville, PA. M-F, No weekends! Locations Phoenixville, Collegeville, and Limerick, Pennsylvania 11 Providers and growing Hospital Affiliation: Phoenixville Hospital, Tower Health (Level II NICU) Role Overview The Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) provides comprehensive care across the continuum, including prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic services, while promoting clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, and team engagement. Responsibilities Performs OB patient intakes for practice. Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic care to women across the lifespan. Perform physical examinations; order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests; and develop individualized treatment plans. Provide patient education and counseling related to reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth preparation, and newborn care. Collaborate closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, team-based care. Refer patients to specialty providers as indicated and coordinate follow-up care. Recognize and respond to obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, initiate appropriate interventions, and collaborate with physician and clinical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Participate in Axia and state-level initiatives that support the advancement of women’s health. Performs IUD, Nexplanon, Endometrial Biopsies, Vulvar Biopsies, etc. Skills Strong clinical expertise in obstetrics, gynecology, labor and delivery. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Qualifications & Experience Master’s degree or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Nurse Midwifery from an accredited program. Current certification in good standing as a Certified Nurse Midwife by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB). Current, unrestricted Pennsylvania CNM License. Pennsylvania Prescriptive authority and DEA registration, as required by state regulations. Minimum of five (5) years of full-scope clinical experience as a Certified Nurse Midwife.
