Certified Nurse MidwifeDocumentation of experience as defined by the CNM Allied Health Credentialing policy to include the care of a normal laboring patient and recognition of deviations from normal which require supervising physician consultation and/or management. Responsible for providing evidence of back-up supervision by an obstetrician fully credentialed at Parkview.CNM will attend Association of Women's Health Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses advanced fetal monitoring training every two years. The CNM will be credentialed through Medical staff, initial and on-going. Additionally the CNMs are required to have experience and provide evidence that they have assisted in a minimum of 25 cesarean section surgical procedures prior to performing the role. CNMs must perform the first assistant role at minimum 10 times per year.Must have current and valid California State RN license. Must have current license to practice as a CNM in the State of CA. Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
