How You Will Make a Difference

• Assist residents with bathing, personal grooming, feeding, and toileting.
• Prepare residents for treatment or examination by helping them bathe, groom, shave, and dress.
• Transport residents to treatment units using wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Monitor residents’ conditions, including measuring and recording food and liquid intake, output, and vital signs; report any changes to professional staff.
• Complete clerical duties, such as processing documents and updating residents’ records.

Requirements

What You’ll Need to Succeed
To be successful as a CNA at Trio Healthcare, you’ll need to meet the following requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certifications
• Ability to lift and move residents safely and with care
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to resident care
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle tasks with patience and respect
