Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis at our long term care facility in Omaha, NE. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.

- Help residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring safe and proper techniques.

- Monitor and record residents' vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.

- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.

- Accurately document care provided and any changes in residents' condition.

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.

- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive and respectful environment.

Requirements:

- Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Nebraska.

- Previous experience in a long term care facility preferred.

- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

- Ability to lift and move residents, stand for long periods, and perform physically demanding tasks.

- Willingness to work on a PRN basis, including weekends and holidays as needed.
