At Yoakum Community Hospital, we are seeking an engaging and skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team on a regular part-time basis. As a not-for-profit hospital managed by Community Hospital Corporation, we have been delivering comprehensive healthcare services to our community since 1922. With a commitment to compassion, dignity, and respect, we provide superior healthcare using the latest medical technology and a highly skilled team of professionals.

As a COTA, you will administer occupational therapy services to patients in accordance with physicians' orders and the occupational therapy plan of care. You will collaborate with the occupational therapist and other members of the healthcare team to provide high-quality care. Additionally, you will participate in patient and family teaching and continuously maintain your licensure and professional expertise through ongoing education.

The ideal candidate for this position will have graduated from an accredited two-year Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program, hold a current certification as a COTA, and possess current CPR certification. Competency in all procedures within the scope of practice is essential, as is a thorough understanding of the range of treatments needed by patients across various age groups.
