SALARY


The minimum salary is $54,545.92 annually
This position is not eligible for overtime (exempt); however, the city has a compensatory time leave program for employees that grants leave time for hours worked in excess of forty hours.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION


The purpose of this position is to case management and therapeutic intervention and mental health treatment, under the supervision of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, to court involved and/or at-risk youth at the Audrey Grevious Center.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Master's degree in social work
  • No experience required
  • Valid Certified Social Work License (CSW) from the Kentucky Board of Social Work

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provides individual and group treatment services to court involved and/or at-risk youth
  • Conducts client assessments to develop individual treatment plans with goals and objectives
  • Provides individual and group therapy using modalities such as psycho-educational and evidence-based interventions
  • Performs crisis intervention, substance use/abuse prevention and intervention, and risk assessments as needed
  • Develops and maintains accurate and timely records for all clients including, but not limited to treatment plans, weekly progress reports, and database (CMIS) records
  • Coordinates treatment team meetings with youth, his/her family, and other community service providers to communicate clinical issues, progresses, and recommendations
  • Plans and/or attends trainings, meetings, conferences, and seminars
  • Provides and/or coordinates the provision of required services to clients and assist families when needed
  • Transports and escorts clients to essential appointments
  • Performs related work as assigned

SPECIAL LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

  • Valid Certified Social Work License (CSW) from the Kentucky Board of Social Work
  • Valid driver's license
  • First Aid and CPR certification and Safe Crisis Management certification must be obtained within the first six (6) months of employment and maintained as a condition of employment.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • May be required to work evening hours and/or weekends as assigned
  • All positions require drug testing, background check, Child Abuse and Neglect (CAN) check, and State and National sex offender registry checks before employment and may require a post-job offer physical as stated in Ordinances 21-14(b), 22-13 and 23-16.
