Certified Surgical Tech Team LeadProvides care of patients as a Surgical Technologist/Technician. Provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other personnel in maintaining standards for professional practice in the clinical setting.Job Duties:Maintain adequate inventories of supplies; ensuring instruments & supplies are available and thoroughly sterilized for all cases.Responsible for gross decontamination of instruments including breaking down instruments for further cleaning in Central Sterile Processing.Initiate, maintain, and/or manage communication regarding subjects including specialty case start times, issue resolution, and staff and training updates.Implement appropriate interventions, delegates Surgical Tech care duties and supervision as needed.Scrub into case and maintain the sterile field during case set up.Requirements:Technical Diploma from a Surgical Technologist accredited program or comparable military trainingMinimum of 7 years' experienceCertified Surgical Tech (CST) certification requiredBenefits:Tuition Assistance reimbursement programPaid Time Off available for use upon hireCompany paid Maternity and Paternity LeaveBereavement Leave (includes pets)Employee Assistance ProgramRetirement plans with company match
