Our company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CFO/Senior Accounting Manager to join our leadership team. This position will oversee the accounting functions for a large, family-owned business with over 500 employees, ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and operational excellence across all departments.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and review journal vouchers (JVs), financial reports, and monthly account reconciliations.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis.
  • Assist with treasury management activities, including cash flow forecasting and bank relationship management.
  • Oversee tax compliance processes and coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filings.
  • Administration of insurance programs and employee benefits for all companies.
  • Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Provide financial insights and guidance to executive management to support strategic decisions.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Franchise Automotive Dealership Experience Preferred.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and strong knowledge of GAAP principles.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills suited to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
