We are keen to speak with CFTC Regulatory Reporting Subject Matter Experts to join our team. Working for a Hedge Fund based in New York City, on an initial 6 month contract. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of CFTC regulations and extensive experience in regulatory reporting within the hedge fund industry. You will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with CFTC requirements and enhancing their reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of CFTC regulatory reporting strategies.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports to CFTC and other regulatory bodies.
  • Analyse and interpret CFTC regulations to provide guidance to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data quality and reporting efficiency.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their impact on reporting obligations.
  • Provide training and support to staff on CFTC reporting requirements and best practices.
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on compliance status and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in regulatory reporting within the hedge fund or financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of CFTC regulations, particularly related to derivatives and swaps.
  • Proven analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
