Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Assistant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base pay rate of $25.00 to $30.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Maintain electronic vendor files in a paperless environment.Match, process, and post daily invoices through QuickBooks for multiple offices and companies.Reconcile credit card statements and verify all invoices are received for vendor payments.Prepare Excel batch transactions for import into QuickBooks.Review employee expense reports and track receipts for accuracy and completeness. Requirements: 3+ years of experience using desktop QuickBooks, especially in Accounts Payable.Show strong Excel skills, including the use of V-lookups and batch transaction entry.Communicate professionally with vendors and internal staff.Manage multiple tasks independently and meet daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.Use Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook and Word, effectively. Qualifications: Prior experience as an Accounting Assistant or in a similar role.Possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
