JOB PURPOSE : As part of the Change Management team, the Change Management Analyst role is to coordinate change initiatives and support senior change practitioners in delivering complex change projects, utilizing planning, assessment and data analytical skills. Focused on the people side of change, data analysis, business processes, systems, technology and organizational structure, the Change Management Analyst will support all change management efforts and provide critical coordination and data analysis/management to drive faster adoption and utilization of changes. An analyst at the foundation generally has the following responsibilities: Implement and administer processes Forecast and monitor activities; run, analyze and present reports Conduct research; identify issues and recommend actions Enhance connections among across the foundation, vendors and partners Act as a key resource in the compilation, organization and communication of complex information and knowledge Negotiate and manage select vendor contracts Perform other roles and duties as assigned Specifically, the Change Management Analyst is responsible for the following: Coordination of portions of change initiatives and supporting senior change practitioners in planning and executing larger change projects. Planning and coordination of change-related huddles, surveys and assessments. Data analytics related to change projects. Data entry, management andinterpretation of patterns and trends related to change projects. Agile coaching activities across pods and core teams. CORE CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS Education/ Experience Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience required in related field. Experience with change management methodologies, framework, activities and tools. Ability to work effectively with persons from diverse cultural, social, and ethnic backgrounds. Analytical Thinking: simplifies complex situations in a systematic, logical manner by identifying issues, making comparisons, setting priorities and assessing implications Data Analysis: collect, organize, and use information to help solve problems or answer questions; prepare reports, data dashboards, etc.; technical capabilities in specialized data software-e.g. SQL, Tableau, data warehousing, SAS, data mining, data modeling, WorkTango, Qualtrex and other survey software. Business Acumen: knows how business works; knowledgeable in current policies, practices, trends, technology, and information affecting the organization; is aware of strategies and tactics and how they work in the marketplace Decision Quality: makes good decisions based on relevant data and information; most of their solutions and suggestions turn out to be correct and accurate when judged over time; sought out by others for input, advice and solutions Customer Focus: is dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers; acts with customer in mind; establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect Presentation Skills: is effective in a variety of formal presentation settings: one-on-one, small/large groups, with peers, leaders, etc.; commands attention and can manage group process during the presentation; can change tactics midstream when something isn’t working; is effective both inside and outside the organization when discussing “hot button” topics Innovation/Creativity: generates and applies new and original ideas, creative approaches, methods and solutions to daily work Ability to effectively manage individual change and agile coaching projects (entire projects or components). Understanding people’s experience of change. Ability to build trust and credibility. Knowledge of the principles, methods and tools for Change Management.
