Job requirements:
- Apply a structured change methodology and lead change management activities
- Assess the change impact on individuals and organizations, evaluating capacity for execution
- Conduct change management assessments (risk, strategic alignment, sponsorship, capacity, etc.)
- Create and execute a change management strategy aligned with organizational pillars and the strategic plan
- Identify, analyze, and prepare risk mitigation tactics, addressing anticipated resistance
- Consult and coach project teams on integrating change management within project management
- Develop actionable change management deliverables (change portfolio, communications plans, sponsor roadmap, training plans, etc.)
- Support communications strategies and plans to build commitment, leading training efforts
- Coach executives, managers, and supervisors in strengthening sponsorship skills
- Integrate change management into the overall master portfolio, evaluating and ensuring user readiness
- Identify key stakeholder talent impacting the organization's commitment to change
- Track and report issues, define and measure success metrics, monitor change progress
- Support building change execution capabilities across the organization
- Possess experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with active listening skills
- Establish and maintain strong relationships, influencing others toward a common vision or goal
- Exhibit flexibility and adaptability, working effectively in ambiguous situations
- Approach change with a forward-looking, holistic/systems view
- Demonstrate organizational skills, strategic planning, and an understanding of data collection and analysis
- Work effectively at all levels in an organization, understanding large organization issues, structure, and business acumen
- Be a team player, collaborating with others, and familiarity with project management approaches, tools, and software development lifecycles
- Experience leading large-scale organizational change efforts, with knowledge of training development and execution for process changes and software solution integrations
- Change Management certification or designation desired; CCMP /Prosci certification a plus
- State government/Indiana government experience a plus
