The Chartered Accountant will be responsible for overseeing financial reports, managing taxation, conducting audits, maintaining compliance with regional financial regulations, handling accounts payable and receivable, and supporting strategic financial planning. The role also includes ensuring accuracy in financial record-keeping, streamlining accounting processes, and working closely with internal teams to provide financial insights for business decisions.QualificationsProfessional certification as a Chartered Accountant or equivalent qualificationProficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecastingStrong knowledge of tax laws, audits, and compliance regulationsExperience in preparing balance sheet and final accounts Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software including SAPStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaborationAbility to work on-site in Kolkata metropolitan area and manage multiple prioritiesPrior experience in the jewellery or retail sector is a plus
