POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Sales Floor Lead reports to the Store Manager.
  • Located in Torrance, CA.
  • Full-Time
  • In Office
Full time retail customer service and business-to-business sales floor lead.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assisting professional chefs, restaurant owners and cooking enthusiasts with their purchases at the counter.
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate with vendors and customers with information needed for smooth transition of special orders.
  • Resolving customer complaints.
  • Processing refunds and exchanges.
  • Works independently or with minimal supervision.
  • Bagging purchases to ensure safe transport.
  • Maintaining a clean workspace.
  • Accepting payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate and proving a receipt to every customer.
  • Balancing the cash register and generating reports for credit and debit sales.
  • May occasionally visit customers.
  • All other duties as assigned and/or required.
  • Full-Time retail customer service and business-to-business front counter sales associate.
COMPETENCIES:
  • Strong analytical skills with good attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally.
  • Energetic Personality.
  • Foodservice Industry experience is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and learn quickly are a must.
  • Must be computer literate.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
  • High School diploma or equivalent GED, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
  • Must have cashier and customer service experience.
  • Must have ability to read, write and speak English sufficiently (other languages a plus).
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.
The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidates unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMarks benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
