Location: North Chicago, IL
Hire Type: Long-term Contract, Onsite
Pay Rate: $35.00/hour (W2, with full employee benefits)

Overview:
As a contract employee of Sterling, you are eligible to receive a Full Employee Benefits Package that includes paid time off, paid holidays, 3 medical plans to choose from, dental & vision plans, 401(k), and an Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) plan.

Job Summary:
Join the technical operations team of a global pharmaceutical manufacturing company to support manufacturing operations within their Pilot Plant. Drive New Product Introduction (NPI), optimize processes, ensure GMP compliance, and contribute to continuous improvement projects.

Job Duties:
  • Collaborate with teams on NPI and process optimization projects.
  • Supervise and enhance manufacturing processes on the production floor.
  • Document processes and draft technical reports to support compliance.
  • Identify opportunities for improving efficiency, quality, and safety.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to learning and professional development.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering preferred (will consider related degrees).
  • Prior experience working in process improvements within a pharmaceutical environment is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to learning and adapting in manufacturing operations.
