We are currently supporting a growing manufacturing business in the Netherlands looking to hire a Chemical Engineer with strong expertise in injection moulding and mold development.This is an exciting opportunity to join a technically driven team.Key Focus Areas:Injection Moulding Processes: Strong understanding of injection moulding principles, machine parameters, material behaviour, and process optimisation to ensure high-quality, repeatable production.Feasibility Studies: Conduct technical feasibility assessments for new products and tooling, including material selection, manufacturability analysis, and cost-efficiency considerations.Mold Flow Analysis: Perform and interpret mold flow simulations to optimise gate locations, cooling systems, cycle times, and reduce defects such as warpage, shrinkage, or air traps.Mold Construction & Optimisation: Work closely with toolmakers and production teams on mold design, construction, validation, and continuous improvement of tooling performance.Hands-On Engineering Expertise: Practical, shop-floor experience supporting production, troubleshooting processing issues, and implementing process improvements.
