Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chemical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in chemical and material reactions, reaction kinetics, and mass transfer processes. This role involves designing, optimizing, and scaling up chemical processes to improve efficiency, sustainability, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize chemical processes for new and existing products.
  • Conduct experiments and simulations related to chemical reaction engineering, material interactions, and mass transfer.
  • Analyze process data to improve yield, safety, and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate process innovations into production.
  • Develop and validate reaction models to predict performance at different scales.
  • Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Ensure all activities comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or related field; Masters degree with significant experience will be considered.
  • Strong background in chemical reaction kinetics, catalysis, mass transfer, and thermodynamics.
  • Experience with process simulation tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, COMSOL, ChemCAD, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to design and conduct laboratory and pilot-scale experiments.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex data and applying modeling or statistical techniques.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in materials processing or surface reaction engineering.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytical and characterization techniques.
  • Knowledge of process scale-up and technology transfer.
  • Track record of publications or patents in relevant areas.
