Description:
- Minimum of Associates required, but Bachelors preferred. Open to new graduates. This is a very fast paced environment. Soft skills are critical to the manager. Must be able to work as a team, with a team, all day long. No one in this group works independently. Must communicate well. A background in analyzing IONs and using ION chromatography is preferred. Position involves pH testing of nitrates and salt samples.
- Manager prefers local candidates, but is willing to consider candidates willing to relocate at their own expense as long as they can relocate within 2-3 weeks.
- This is a full-time position in a development lab. Hours will be 8am-5pm with some overtime. Day to day activities will be preparing and analyzing samples using ion chromatography equipment and pH meters to provide results for research and development project groups. These results are critical to the decision making for key projects.
- Candidate must be able to work as part of a large team, have good communication skills while working internally with the team and with internal customers, external vendors, and be willing to work some overtime as requested.
- This role requires precision and a high level of accuracy and often has tight timelines. All activities are entered and managed by on-line systems. The candidate should have knowledge of chemistry, be detail oriented, and have a willingness to learn.
Education: AAS Required, BS Desired Experience: 0-3 Years
