Who you are: This position is responsible for supporting application testing of architectural coating with emphasis on incoming roof samples to provide accurate roof systems analysis. This position also supports the research and development of new product testing. This hands‑on position plays an integral role in day‑to‑day tactical operations and sales strategy. Candidates must have good computer skills, as well as attention to detail. Hands on experience with lab equipment and related software are required. What you’ll do: Perform mathematical calculations using computer and/or calculator. Prepare samples. Perform and report statistical analysis of lab data. Assemble, disassemble and maintain plant equipment. Record data using accepted manufacturing protocols and methods. Participate in planning and strategic plant situations. Demonstrated physical ability to perform necessary duties of position. What you’ll need: Minimum 1 semester of prior lab experience. Minimum education, knowledge, skills and abilities. BS of Chemistry OR Chemical Engineering preferred and one semester of laboratory experience. Ability to organize time and be able to perform multiple routine tasks in a specific application area.
