Chemical Process Engineer Co‑op Chemours is seeking a Chemical Process Engineer Co‑op to join our growing Manufacturing Technology team. This position will be available at the Pass Christian, MS location and report directly to the Co‑op Coordinator. As a Process Engineering Co‑op, you will work closely with the Manufacturing Technology team gaining valuable experience through hands‑on projects in a chemical plant. You will have exposure to real‑time engineering work alongside other engineers to apply what you’ve learned in the classroom. Location: Pass Christian, MS Hours: Full‑time schedule of 40 hours per week Preferred First Term: Fall May‑August 2026 Candidates must be able to commit to at least two (2) co‑op terms; preferably three (3) terms. This co‑op program consists of rotating semesters where students will alternate between school semesters and work terms. First Work Term: Fall August‑December 2026 Second Work Term: Summer May‑August 2027 Third Work Term: Spring January‑May 2028 Responsibilities Working with experienced engineering professionals on improvement and expansion projects Assisting operations and maintenance with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem solving Participating in process safety management activities and reviews Contributing to team meetings and conference calls Communicating tests and other ongoing work with engineering mentors, operations, management, etc. Required qualifications Enrollment at an accredited college or university as a Sophomore or above at time of assignment Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred qualifications 3.0 GPA or above Participation in relevant activities, organizations, and projects beyond the classroom Completion of initial Engineering coursework Benefits Competitive Compensation Comprehensive Benefits Packages 401(k) Match Employee Stock Purchase Program Tuition Reimbursement Commuter Benefits Learning and Development Opportunities Strong Inclusion and Diversity Initiatives Company‑paid Volunteer Day We’re a different kind of chemistry company because we see our people as our biggest assets.
