CUSTOM CERAMICS & METAL OXIDE POWDERS

$105,000-$115,000 TO START

Turn innovation into production.

We're seeking a Process Engineer with hands-on experience in large-scale production of ceramic and inorganic materials. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bridging R&D and manufacturing, improving yields, and building smarter, more efficient processes.

Must have experience processing ceramic and/or metal oxide powder, or other organic powder materials. Must have experience with rotary calciners, kilns, and mixing powder material into slurry then spray drying.

What You'll Do

  • Support the transition of new products from development to full-scale manufacturing.
  • Develop and refine process plans, equipment settings, and in-process specifications.
  • Analyze and improve yield, efficiency, and process capability.
  • Implement and support Statistical Process Control (SPC) and ISO-9001 documentation.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Business Development, and Development Engineering.
  • Review equipment performance, energy usage, and calibration requirements.
  • Support customer interactions related to product specifications and testing.
  • Drive continuous improvement, corrective actions, and preventive measures.
  • Ensure proper product labeling, testing, traceability, and disposition.
  • Maintain accurate process documentation and quality records.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Ceramics Engineering or Materials Science (required).
  • Experience with ceramic or inorganic material manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of process control, yield analysis, and quality systems.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a production-driven environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset.
