The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and governance across a multi-entity structure. This includes the preparation and submission of all financial filings, managing accounting operations at both corporate and property levels, maintaining internal controls, and coordinating audits. The role also involves providing accounting guidance for capital market activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and leading multi-entity consolidations. The Chief Accounting Officer will be a key member of the leadership team, collaborating with senior executives, external advisors, and various departments to ensure the accuracy, scalability, and strategic alignment of all accounting processes. Applicants for the Chief Accounting Officer position at the company must have a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation and at least 15 years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for those with a background in multi-entity or real estate structures. Extensive knowledge of SEC reporting, technical accounting, and financial compliance is essential, as is a proven ability to lead and develop large teams in a fast-paced environment.
