Position Overview:

The Chief Diversity Officer (CDO) at Augmentjobs is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies. This executive role is key to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture that supports business goals and reflects the values of the organization. The CDO will work closely with senior leadership to integrate DEI principles into all aspects of the company's operations and to drive positive change across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership:

    • Develop and execute the company's DEI strategy and initiatives in alignment with overall business goals.

    • Serve as a thought leader on diversity, equity, and inclusion issues, advocating for best practices and innovative approaches.

    • Partner with senior leadership to ensure DEI goals are embedded in business strategies and performance metrics.

  • Program Development:

    • Design and implement DEI programs, policies, and practices to promote a diverse and inclusive work environment.

    • Lead efforts to recruit, retain, and develop a diverse talent pool, ensuring equitable opportunities for growth and advancement.

  • Training and Education:

    • Oversee the development and delivery of DEI training and educational programs for employees at all levels.

    • Promote cultural competency and awareness through workshops, seminars, and other learning opportunities.

  • Metrics and Reporting:

    • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to DEI goals and objectives.

    • Prepare and present regular reports on DEI progress and impact to senior management and the board of directors.

  • Community and External Relations:

    • Build and maintain relationships with external organizations, community groups, and stakeholders to support DEI efforts.

    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and other public forums on DEI-related topics.

  • Policy and Compliance:

    • Ensure company policies and practices are compliant with relevant laws and regulations related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

    • Address and resolve issues related to discrimination, harassment, and inequality in the workplace.

  • Culture and Employee Engagement:

    • Foster an inclusive culture that values diversity and promotes employee engagement and satisfaction.

    • Act as a resource and advocate for employees from underrepresented groups, providing support and guidance as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in diversity, equity, and inclusion roles, with a proven track record of developing and leading successful DEI programs.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and use insights to drive decision-making and improve DEI initiatives.

  • Cultural Competency: Deep understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles, with the ability to apply them in a variety of contexts.

  • Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines.

  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including employees, community organizations, and external partners.
