Note: Must be US Citizen. Location: Local would be preferred at first. Must have at least 6 months to a year of current experience. Interview Process: HM will request interview via Teams. Work Schedule: Routine shift hours. Infrequent overtime, weekend, or shift rotation.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Design, analyze, and develop heavy-duty vehicle components for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Perform engineering calculations, design evaluations, and investigations under supervision
  • Support senior engineers in preparing plans, reports, and documentation
  • Create and maintain layouts, drawings, specifications, and bills of materials (BOMs)
  • Conduct basic analysis to support selection of components, parts, and materials
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to address design and production issues
  • Provide non-complex technical support for production activities and resolve reported engineering issues
  • Prepare technical proposals, reports, and presentations as required
  • Ensure designs comply with established Oshkosh and industry engineering standards
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (Mechanical preferred)
  • Experience: Internship or 6+ months of relevant engineering work experience
  • Technical Skills: CAD proficiency, analytical modeling, and engineering documentation
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a technical team environment
