The successful candidate will be responsible for the vision, development, and implementation of the organization's goals and policies. This includes fiscal management, operations, staff management, program development, public education, fundraising, and advocacy. The role demands a leader with a Master's degree in a related field, at least 7 years' experience in a senior leadership position, and a proven track record in resource development and diversification of funding sources. The CEO will also be the chief spokesperson, engaging with the community, and must be adept at building and maintaining relationships with governmental and funding agencies. Key responsibilities for the Executive Director/CEO include strategic leadership, staff and operations management, and ensuring the organization adheres to sound financial practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in child welfare systems, be an expert in child development and abuse prevention research, and have the ability to innovate and expand programmatic initiatives. They must also demonstrate influence management skills, be able to work under pressure, and have strong IT skills.
