The CFO will be a key leader in the organization, responsible for all financial operations, including accounting, treasury, budget and reimbursement, financial reporting, internal audit, financial planning, revenue cycle, managed care contracting, materials management, and care management. This pivotal role involves being a critical thought resource for the strategic future of the health system, leading financial strategy and operations, and ensuring the organization's financial health and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' of financial executive experience, with a preference for those with a master's degree and/or CPA. They should be a seasoned finance leader with a vision for finance, capable of mentoring the finance team, and have a proven track record in optimizing revenue and cash flows within a health system. The CFO will work closely with the CEO and the executive team to set performance standards and metrics that align with the strategic plan, while maintaining a focus on patient care and quality. A compassionate, collaborative leader who is adept at building strong relationships with executive teams, physicians, and staff is highly valued. The successful candidate will be a balanced leader, comfortable in both high-level strategic discussions and in supporting local operating teams. They will be expected to be a visible and approachable leader, helping to shape the direction of the system and ensuring that financial operations support the organization's mission of providing local, community-focused healthcare.
