Position Summary The Chief Financial Officer serves as the bank’s senior financial executive, responsible for strategic financial leadership, balance sheet management, regulatory reporting oversight, and long‑term financial planning. The CFO partners with leadership and the Board to guide financial strategy, manage capital and liquidity, and ensure safe and sound financial operations. This role oversees accounting, budgeting, asset‑liability management, and financial risk monitoring to support sustainable growth. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required; MBA and/or CPA preferred. 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience within banking or financial services. Strong understanding of bank financial statements, regulatory reporting, and ALM. Key Responsibilities Lead the bank’s financial strategy, planning, and performance management. Oversee accounting operations, regulatory reporting, and financial statement accuracy. Manage capital planning, liquidity monitoring, and asset‑liability management (ALM). Present financial performance reports to executive leadership and the Board. Develop and oversee annual budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor profitability, margin trends, and balance sheet performance. Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety and soundness standards. Oversee investment portfolio strategy in coordination with executive leadership. Support strategic initiatives, growth planning, and operational efficiency improvements. Serve as a key liaison with regulators, auditors, and external financial partners. Competencies Strategic financial thinker with strong business acumen. Deep understanding of bank balance sheet management and profitability drivers. Executive‑level communication and presentation skills. Strong leadership and organizational management abilities. High ethical standards and commitment to regulatory compliance and safe banking practices. General Requirements Must be able to lift and carry up to 10 pounds. Some travel to branch or off‑site locations may be required. Ability to sit, stand, and operate a computer for extended periods of time. Must comply with all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Demonstrate confidentiality, integrity, and sound judgment in all interactions. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as business needs dictate.
