Job Summary: The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including financial planning, risk management, financial reporting, and strategic planning. The CFO will work closely with the CEO, board of directors, and other senior executives to drive the company's financial strategy, ensure financial health, and support the company's growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's long-term goals and business strategy.
  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts. Provide insights and recommendations to drive business decisions and enhance financial performance.
  • Risk Management: Identify financial risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Treasury Management: Manage cash flow, investments, and capital structure to optimize the company's financial position.
  • Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate financial performance and strategy effectively to the board of directors, investors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities for operational improvements and cost savings. Implement financial controls and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. An MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role. Experience as a CFO or in a similar executive position is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Strong financial acumen with a deep understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies that drive business growth.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly to diverse audiences.
    • Experience with financial software and systems.
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
